Overview

Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship 2022-23 offered by the Government of Japan for Government sector workers from Nepal at Japanese Graduate Schools. The value of the scholarship is 

  • Round trip Air tickets (Nepal to Japan) and other transportation fees
  • Arrival/shipping allowance
  • Admission and tuition for graduate school
  • Accommodation allowance for rent
  • Monthly allowance for living costs in Japan
  • Other permissible allowances (e.g. Books,etc.)

 

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be Nepali nationals
  • Must be between the ages of 30 and 45 for the Doctorate program. Between the ages of 25 and 40 for the master's program.
  • At least 5 years of work experience for the doctorate and 3 years experience for the masters in Civil Service at the time of applications.
  • Must hold a master’s degree/Bachelor's degree (including universities in Nepal).
  • Must return to and serve for the country for certain years 
  • Must have sufficient English language ability
