Maastricht University (UM) has initiated the Prof. Jo Ritzen Scholarships for French students to support and encourage students enrolled in studying at the university.

Eligibility for the Prof. Jo Ritzen Scholarships for French Students:

Be admitted to the LLB in European Law School (ELS) at the Faculty of Law.
Participate in the decentralised selection procedure.
Hold a passport from:
- Belgium
- Luxembourg
- France
- Qualify for a Dutch student visa (MVV residence permit)
Be a first-generation student.

Value of the Prof. Jo Ritzen Scholarships for French Students:

The UFL Prof. Jo Ritzen scholarship covers the tuition fee for the ELS programme for a maximum of 3 years.

Application Process:

Submit an application including:
- CV (max 2 pages)
- Motivation letter (max 1 page, tailored to scholarship)
- Reference letter (from high school dean).
