The purpose of this scholarship is to acknowledge the rising expense of a university education. As a result, the scholarship will be given to the President's International Scholars in the form of a reduction in the first year's tuition. Additionally, it would be required of the accomplished scholars to represent the City community. This includes speaking on behalf of the university at both on- and off-campus events, supporting larger community involvement efforts, and giving back to society.
