Texas State University provides scholarships to incoming freshmen based on their admission credentials. Assured scholarships are given to students with SAT or ACT scores, while Merit Scholarships are available to students who apply without test scores.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicant must submit an admission application, high school transcript, and official SAT or ACT scores.
- Open to all nationals admitted into Texas State as a first-time incoming freshman.
- Must have a Minimum SAT score of 1420+ or Minimum ACT score of 32+
- Being in the top 25% of your graduating class, holding an IB diploma, or having an AP Capstone Diploma all reflect strong academic achievement.
Renewal Criteria;
- Must have a 3.25 cumulative Texas State GPA
- Complete 28 passing Texas State hours/year (fall/spring)
- Have an Undergraduate status
- Currently enrolled and not have earned a bachelor's degree
Value: $12,000 Annual Award (fall/spring)
