The Phyllis Paykel Memorial Scholarship in Medicine at the University of Auckland is intended to assist students at a suitable stage of the medical program to undertake additional study and research in a selected area of medicine, including the related biological and social sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for the Phyllis Paykel Memorial Scholarship in Medicine at the University of Auckland:

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
Applicants must have successfully completed Part III of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enroll, in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) research year in the following year.
A GPA of at least 7.00 (6.50 for Māori and Pacific candidates) is required for Scholarship consideration

Value of Phyllis Paykel Memorial Scholarship in Medicine at University of Auckland:

Up to two scholarships will be awarded annually for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of up to $13,500 each.
