Overview

Applications are invited for a 3 year PhD studentship in the Hammond group at the Cardiff Catalysis Institute at Cardiff University.

Eligibility: 

  • Residency: Full awards (fees plus maintenance stipend) are open to UK Nationals and EU students without further restrictions.
  • Academic criteria:Applicants must have a minimum MSc/Masters/Mchem degree.
  • The applicant must possess very good knowledge of fundamental chemistry, and some knowledge in a complimentary specialized field such as inorganic materials chemistry, chemical reaction engineering, spectroscopy, and/or organic chemistry.

The program is self-funded.
