PhD Studentship in Department of Diagnostic Sciences at Ghent University 2020 is offered to higly motivated PhD student that will perform research on innovative therapeutic strategies in preclinical models for brain tumors based on previously acquired results by the university research group.
Eligibility for PhD Studentship in Department of Diagnostic Sciences at Ghent University 2020:
- You have (or will obtain soon) a Master in Health Science (Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Farmaceutical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or Bioscience Engineering).
- You are interested in preclinical imaging with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
- You are interested in small animal models for brain tumors.
- You have (or are willing to obtain) a license to work with small laboratory animals.
- You are able to work independently but also as part of an interdisciplinary research team.
- You are highly motivated, and interested in conducting scientific research in order to obtain a PhD degree in Health Sciences.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
