PhD Scholarships in Economics, 2021

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for PhD scholarships in Economics.The Department will give priority to applicants with high grades from their universities. The Department of Economics at CBS provides research, teaching and knowledge transfer within the core areas of economics, i.e. microeconomics, macroeconomics, and quantitative methods. The Department is especially active in business-related, applied economic research, and has three research centres: Centre for Innovation (CFI), Pension Research Centre (PeRCent), and Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (CSEI). The Department offers high quality education within an extensive number of full-time and part-time programs available at CBS, including a structured PhD program.

Eligibility criteria for the PhD Scholarships in Economics, 2021:

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the CBS PhD School.
• Applicants must have a basic training at the Masters’ level (similar to the 3 + 2 Bologna process). 
• Applicants must have educational background in economics or related fields.
• Applicants must successfully have completed the Master’s degree before commencing PhD at CBS. However, we will also consider master students for enrolment in the 4+4 scheme. 
• Applicants must be fluent in English.  

Benefits of the PhD Scholarships in Economics, 2021:

Successful applicants of the PhD Scholarships in Economics, 2021 will receive tuition fees, office space, travel grants plus a salary, currently starting with per month app. DKK 27.593 up to 33.324 depending on seniority, plus a pension contribution totalling 17.1 %
