The University of Queensland (UQ) has initiated PhD Scholarship in Developing New Treatments for Children with Brain Cancer, 2021 to all students who wish to work in th efield of medicine (cancer related). The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI) was established in 2007 and forms a major research centre within the Faculty of Medicine.  UQDI academics are part of a vibrant and highly successful academic institution optimising their chances of research success.

Aim of the Project: The aim of the Institute is to develop a better understanding of the molecular and cellular basis of disease, and to translate that understanding into practical outcomes for patients.

Eligibility criteria for the PhD Scholarship in Developing New Treatments for Children with Brain Cancer, 2021:

  • Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
  • Applicants must enroll in the eligible PhD course of study at the university.
  • Applicants must have completed some research experience.
  • Applicants must have completed an approved university degree.
