Macquarie University has established PhD Scholarship in Developing New Laser Diagnostic Techniques for Multiphase Fluid Mechanics Measurement to provide financial assistance to a higher degree research (HDR) student who is to undertakes research study at the university.

Project Description:

The project has been establsihed to improve our understanding of aerosol dynamics, with an emphasis on oral inhalation aerosols. The project will be experimental in nature and involve work in a state-of-the-art laboratory facility. The project is a collaboration between Engineering at Macquarie University, Proveris Scientific Corporation (USA based partner), the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic, and the School of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility criteria for the PhD Scholarship in Developing New Laser Diagnostic Techniques, 2021:

  • Open to all international students.
  • Applicants must have a bachelor or higher award from a recognised institution
  • Applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 4.38 on a 7 point scale and GPA of 5.25 at 300 level
  • Applicants must submit a research proposal (a short paragraph is sufficient).
  • Applicants must have a high level of English language proficiency.
