Eligibility for PhD Global Excellence Studentship 2022:

  • Successful applicants normally have a good first degree (at least 2.1, or international equivalent) in a relevant field of humanities, and have obtained, or are currently working towards a Master's degree at Merit level, or international equivalent, in a relevant field of humanities. 
  • Applicant should meet the English language requirements and provide proof of proficiency.
  • Applicants will be expected to have identified and approached a potential supervisor and to have supervision agreed in principle. 
  • Applicants would be expected to start their studies in September 2022.

Value of PhD Global Excellence Studentship 2022:

  • A range of full, £10,000 and £5,000 first-year International tuition fee scholarshipsRecipients are expected to commit to engagement beyond their doctoral studies through contributing to the research environment of their discipline and the College by participating in research activities.
