Centre for Democracy and Technology Africa is offering PhD Fellowships for Therapeutic Innovations in Africa, 2017 to outstanding regional female Ph.D. fellows.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of PhD Fellowships for Therapeutic Innovations in Africa, 2017 should fulfill the requirements of Addis Ababa University and also CDT-Africa.
  • Successful students must possess the required visa and the qualifications approved in Ethiopia.
  • Students from any African or Ethiopian institution are eligible to apply but priority will be given to students from the following institutions/universities:

    • Jimma University
    • University of Gondar
    • Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences
  • Regional institutions
    • Makerere University

  • CV, official transcripts and a copy of diploma and concept note for the Ph.D. thesis must be submitted by the candidates applying for PhD Fellowships for Therapeutic Innovations in Africa, 2017.
  • Full and partial scholarships will be awarded which provides support for tuition fee, research projects and for a 1-3 months internship in an international institution.
