The Pfizer Australia Prize was established in 1941 and maintained by a fund of $600 established by gifts from Parke-Davis & Company. Parke-Davis has subsequently been absorbed by Pfizer Australia.

Eligibility Criteria for the Pfizer Australia Prize:

  • Applicants must be current Year 3 Doctor of Medicine students at the university.
  • Applicants must not already be receiving a prize in Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
  • Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence through their critical appraisal.
  • The submission must address a published topic in the field of Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
