Be from Scotland or the rest of the UK.
Be a prospective undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews.
Be studying in the Faculty of Science or Medicine.

Value of the Peter Carpenter Scholarship at the University of St Andrews 2025:

£4,400 per year paid as maintenance, which can also be used for University accommodation.
Paid in ten monthly instalments from September to May, with a double payment in February.
Awarded annually for the duration of the undergraduate program.
