Peter and Maria Jakubow Award at Okanagan College 2026:

The Peter and Maria Jakubow Award supports students who have completed the first year of full-time study in a University Studies, degree, or diploma programme at Okanagan College and are continuing their post-secondary education.

Eligibility Criteria for the Peter and Maria Jakubow Award at Okanagan College 2026:

• Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Applicant must be a resident of the greater Vernon area.
• Applicant must have completed the first year of full-time study in any University Studies, degree, or diploma programme at Okanagan College. Preference is given to students who have completed credits at the Vernon Campus.
• Applicant must be proceeding to a post-secondary institution the following September for a subsequent semester of full-time study, with a minimum 60% course load or 40% course load for students with permanent disabilities.
• Applicant returning to Okanagan College will be given preference.
• Applicant attending another post-secondary institution must provide proof of full-time registration.
• Applicant who is related to a member of the Masonic Order will be given preference.
• Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on academic achievement.

• Apply under Vernon Current/Returning Application.
• Applicants attending another post-secondary institution must provide proof of full-time registration.
• The recipient is selected by Financial Awards.

Value of the Award:

• One award equal to the accrued annual interest on the endowment fund is awarded to the recipient.
