Peggy Saunders Hall Memorial Scholarship

The Peggy Saunders Hall Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000.00 award to support an outstanding undergraduate Art student who has chosen teaching at any level as a future goal. The Art Department Scholarship Committee will select the awardee. The award will be presented at the reception of the Art Departments Annual Award Show in Spring 2019.

Eligibility criteria for Peggy Saunders Hall Memorial Scholarship -

• The applicant must be an outstanding undergraduate Art student who has chosen teaching at any level as a future goal.

Application process -

• Please upload a portfolio containing the following in order in one PDF smaller than 10MB in size:
  (1) A 300-word (maximum) essay about their interest in teaching Art or Art History.
  (2) A 100- to 250-word reflection essay introducing the work submitted in.
  (3) Ten large, high-quality images of the applicant’s specialty with captions (give the title, medium, and year for each work) OR two samples of the applicant’s writing from any art history, studio art, or art education course.
