Paulette Morrison Memorial Award at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The Craig Mackie Newcomer Scholarship was established by the Immigrant & Refugee Services Association PEI Inc. to support first-generation newcomers to PEI who are pursuing studies at Holland College and are involved in their communities.

Eligibility requirement for Paulette Morrison Memorial Award at Holland College:

• Be enrolled in the Early Childhood Care and Education program.
• Submit a supplemental essay describing:A personal illness or disability that created challenges during their education or training.
• How they overcame those challenges through hard work, perseverance, and determination.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 400 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

• Complete the institution's scholarship/award application.
• Ensure you are enrolled in the Early Childhood Care and Education program.
• Write and submit the required essay addressing:
  • The illness or disability you faced.
  • The impact it had on your studies, training, or daily life.
  • The strategies, effort, and determination you used to succeed despite the challenge.
• Submit all application materials by January 11, 2026.
