The Patrick Lloyd Graduate Scholarship supports graduate students at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) who demonstrate an interest in studying the rivers and creeks of northern British Columbia through eligible academic fields.
Eligibility Criteria for the Patrick Lloyd Graduate Scholarship at University of Northern British Columbia 2026:
- Applicants must be graduate students at UNBC.
- Applicants must demonstrate an interest in studying the rivers and creeks of northern BC as they relate to geography, history, biology, archaeology, economics (fisheries), environmental studies, or recreation.
- Preference is given to students studying rivers and creeks of northwestern BC, including Haida Gwaii, particularly those flowing into the Pacific north of Bella Bella.
- Preference is given to students who are permanent residents of northern BC and demonstrate an intention to remain in the region.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
