The Patricia J. Power Award recognizes excellence in clinical practice among nursing students. Established in memory of Patricia J. Power, the award honors students who demonstrate outstanding clinical skills, professionalism, and dedication to delivering high-quality patient care during their nursing education.

Eligibility criteria for the Patricia J. Power Award excellence in clinical practice award at University College Cork:

• The applicants must be enrolled in a nursing program at UCC.
• The applicants must demonstrate excellence in clinical practice.
• The applicants must exhibit outstanding clinical skills and competence during clinical placements.
• The applicants must demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care.

Application Process:

• There is no specific application process; the recipients are selected based on the nominations.

The value of the scholarship:

• An award of EUR 1,000, along with a medal and certificate, is presented to support a full-time student.
