Oxford Centre For Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships 2024

The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is offering scholarships to graduates for pursuing studies that are beneficial to the Muslim world.

Eligibility for Oxford Centre For Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships:

• The candidates applying for Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships should apply to full-time master's or DPhil programs at the University of Oxford.
• The applicants should be residents of the UK or should be from a Muslim community.
• The candidates should be offered a place on their course, to be eligible for the scholarship.
• The candidates who come from a financially disadvantageous household will be given preference.
• The applicants should return to their country, after the completion of the course.
• The candidates should take up a course that is beneficial to the Muslim world and should be relevant to Islamic tradition.
• The scholarships are not offered to the deferred candidates.

Application Process:

The applicant should follow the following steps to apply for the scholarship:

• Tick the box for the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarship in the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the University's graduate application form;
• Submit your application for graduate study by the relevant December/January deadline.
• Complete an Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships Supporting Statement (see related documents on this page) and upload it, together with your graduate application form, by the deadline.
