Operating in Excellence Scholarship (NSBE) supports NSBE members with financial need, helping them pursue higher education. Inspired by NSBE's mission to develop academically strong, professionally successful, and community-focused Black engineers, it aims to promote their academic and professional growth.

Eligibility Criteria for the Operating in Excellence Scholarship (NSBE):

  • Applicants can be of any nationality.
  • Applicants must be current NSBE members PCI, collegiate or alumni.
  • Applicants must be in good standing nationally.
  • Applicants must also be active community members (not restricted to the Fort Wayne community).
  • Applicants must maintain a 2.5 GPA and express financial need.

Application Process:

No Separate application is required.

Value of the Operating in Excellence Scholarship (NSBE):

  • The successful candidates will receive the scholarship value at the discretion of the University.
  • The award is nonrenewable and is to be used toward tuition/housing costs.
