The One-World-Scholarship-Programme is a partial scholarship aimed at students from Africa, Asia, and Latin America who have come to Austria on their initiative, to complete their education. Prospective awardees are required to focus on questions related to development in their studies and research.

Eligibility Criteria for One World Scholarship at Afro Asiatisches Institut Salzburg:

  • Applicants must be citizens of a country in the Global South.
  • Applicants must be admitted to a regular Master's or PhD program at a public university or university of applied sciences in Salzburg and Tyrol.
  • Applicants are expected to show a strong interest in development-related issues.
  • Applicants for Master's studies must be 30 years old (mothers 35 years) and for doctoral studies 35 years (mothers 40 years).
  • Applicant's residence permit be "student" or must have a student visa.
