American University of Cairo - OC-AUC Scholarships in Egypt, 2023

Eligibility for American University of Cairo - OC-AUC Scholarships in Egypt, 2022:

• Scholarships are open to Egyptian students.
• Candidates from public or private high school graduates from Upper Egypt schools (Assiut, Bani Suef, Minya, Sohag, Fayoum, Qena, Luxor and Aswan).
• Students who are active in the local community or school activities are preferred.
• Applicants who are in dire need of financial assistance are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who are interested in pursuing economics as their major are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants must have a minimum score of 95 percent in Thanawiya Amma or its equivalent in any other certificates.
• Students must pass either the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and writing a score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76-82 and writing score of 2022

Documents Required:

• Applicant must submit the Program and Financial application form.
• Candidates must submit a copy of their birth certificate.
• Applicants must submit a letter from their school's administration identifying its location and the type of school.
• Applicants must submit all their academic high school certificates.
• He/She must provide any proof of extracurricular activity certificates.
• Valid IELTS test scores with a minimum score to be submitted.

The successful applicants of the American University of Cairo - OC-AUC Scholarships in Egypt, 2022 will receive full funding which will cover:

• Tuition and fees
• Book allowance
• Housing in a double room at the AUC dorms
• Living allowance
• AUC transportation
• A competitive opportunity to study a year abroad at the University of Chicago provided that the student meets the university eligibility requirements.
