Overview

The OAS Scholarship and Training Programs offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate-level studies, short-term professional training courses, and innovative online training opportunities for citizens/permanent residents of the OAS Member States. Its goal is to increase access to affordable quality higher education for citizens of the Americas and support member states.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of an OAS Member State.
  • Must be fluent and capable in the language of the institution in the country of study.
  • Have obtained a first university degree by the time of applying for the Scholarship.
  • Have a GPA above the minimum standard required by the university.
  • Be in good physical and mental health to complete the program successfully.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must submit the online application along with the following documents:
    • Online Application Form
    • Copy of the diploma for the highest degree obtained.
    • Copies of transcripts of grades for all academic degrees completed and to be completed.
    • Two recommendation letters. 
    • Curriculum Vitae.
    • Admission letter to the program of study.

Value of OAS Academic Scholarships :

  • The selected candidates will receive an award of up to USD 10,000 per academic year towards tuition fees.
