NUS Sports Scholarship by National University of Singapore 2024

The NUS Sports Scholarship is awarded to highly talented individuals who possess outstanding academic and sports participation and representation records.NUS Sports Scholars are exceptionally well-rounded people who are dedicated to raising the bar for NUS Sports. 

Eligibility criteria for NUS Sports Scholarship by the National University of Singapore:

• Candidates Have to Be Citizens of Singapore
• Candidates must possess the ability and strong qualities of leadership
• Applicants must have a strong history of extracurricular involvement, especially in athletics.
• Applicants must have a strong Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level, a certificate from a local polytechnic, an International Baccalaureate, a diploma from NUS High School, or qualities equal to these.
• Candidates must submit an application to NUS for admission to a full-time undergraduate degree program. Scholarships in medicine and dentistry are limited.  

Value of the scholarship:

• full tuition fee (after MOE Tuition Grant subsidy)
• SGD 6,000 annual living allowance
• SGD 4,375 annual accommodation allowance if the scholar is staying on campus
• guaranteed a one-semester Student Exchange Program (SEP) offer from one of NUS's international partner universities
• Priority is given to on-campus housing for the first two years of undergraduate studies, provided that all requirements for on-campus housing are satisfied and a completed application for hostel admission is sent in by the second application window of the year. Residential colleges are not included in this priority; it only applies to residence halls, households, and student housing.
• Scholarship is bond-free
