Dr Goh Keng Swee (GKS) Scholarship at NUS Business School 2024

In recognition of Dr. Goh Keng Swee, the former deputy prime minister of Singapore, who contributed to the country's economic progress and rose to prominence as a global financial hub, the financial community in Singapore founded the GKS Scholarship. The GKS Scholarships are given to deserving students from the Asia-Pacific area so they can attend local colleges in Singapore and pursue undergraduate degrees in recognized fields.

Eligibility for Dr Goh Keng Swee (GKS) Scholarship at NUS Business School:

• Students from the following countries: Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, PRC, and Taiwan.
• simultaneously submitting applications for admission to study at institutions in Singapore.
• Candidates must exhibit leadership abilities and have a strong record of extracurricular activities.
• Applicants need to schedule private testing sessions for admissions exams like the GMAT, TOEFL, or GRE.
• Candidates should be younger than 25 years old.

Value of the Scholarships:

Each year, starting in July or August, undergraduate studies in Singapore are eligible for the award. Preferably, a candidate's academic background should be related to the financial industry. The scholarship will pay for the three to four years needed to finish the undergraduate program and will include the following benefits:

• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Return economy air passage to and from home country
• Annual Maintenance allowance.
