Eligibility Criteria for the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program:

Applicants must:

Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.
Be a STEM major or STEM professional planning to become a K-12 teacher.
Be enrolled in a teacher certification or post-baccalaureate program leading to teaching credentials.
Commit to teaching for at least two years in a high-need K-12 school district for each year of scholarship support received.
Meet academic merit requirements set by the participating institution.

Value of the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program:

Scholarship awards are at least $10,000 per year for STEM majors, up to the cost of attendance.
Scholarship support may be provided for up to three years, beginning in the junior year and continuing through post‑baccalaureate teacher certification.

Application Process:

Identify a participating institution offering the Noyce Scholarship.
Apply to the institution’s teacher preparation or credential program in mathematics or STEM.
Submit the scholarship application to the institution’s Noyce program office, including a personal statement, transcripts, and a career plan.
