The Noni Wright Postgraduate Scholarship in Theatre Studies is offered by the University Council in association with the Guardian Trust to support postgraduate applicants for Theatre Studies students.

Eligibility for the Noni Wright Postgraduate Scholarship in Theatre Studies:

  • Be currently enrolled or intending to enrol in full-time postgraduate study at the University of Otago in the year following the closing date.
  • Be undertaking study towards one of the following degrees:
    • Master of Arts (MA) in Theatre Studies
    • Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Studies
    • PhD with a research topic in Theatre Studies

Application Process:

Applicants are required to submit an application form and a copy of their academic record and/or CV to the Doctoral and Scholarships Office, by the specified closing date.

Value of the Noni Wright Postgraduate Scholarship in Theatre Studies:

The successful applicants of the Noni Wright Scholarship will receive an award of NZ $5000.
