This Prize is funded through a bequest from Eleanor and Wilfred William Wright in the name of Noni Wright, film producer and director.
Eligibility for the Noni Wright Prize in Film, Television, and Media Studies:
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor of Arts degree.
- Be majoring or specializing in Media and Screen Studies.
- Have completed MEDIA 101 (Film Studies) and MEDIA 102 (Media and Culture).
- Have achieved at least an A grade in each of MEDIA 101 and MEDIA 102.
- Demonstrate strong overall academic performance across both courses.
Value of the Noni Wright Prize in Film, Television, and Media Studies:
One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $500.
Application Process:
Students do not need to apply for this scholarship. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
