Nola Charlesworth Bursary at University of Southern Queensland

The Nola Charlesworth Bursary, established through the generosity of Nola Charlesworth and her children to support Clifton State High School graduates, will support one student commencing their first year of a bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Queensland in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The applicant must be a domestic student currently residing in Australia and a graduate of Clifton State High School.
2. The applicant must be a commencing student intending to enrol in a bachelor’s degree program at UniSQ in Trimester 1 2026.
3. The applicant must have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Selection Criteria:

1. Address each personal statement question (max 250 words each): experiences or influences driving your passion, career goals/impact, and how your development has been influenced by community involvement (e.g., volunteer work, leadership roles, or extracurricular activities).
2. Provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process (final year school report card or post-secondary transcript).
3. Provide evidence to support claims made about community involvement and proof of current financial circumstances.

Application Process: Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.

Award:  a maximum value of AUD 1,000 to be paid in one instalment.

Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
