The Newmont Award at the University of Northern British Columbia supports students pursuing studies in Natural Resources, Environmental Studies, Human Resources, Computer Science, or Engineering who demonstrate financial need and academic proficiency.

Eligibility Criteria for the Newmont Award at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an eligible Natural Resources, Environmental Studies, Human Resources, Computer
• Science, or Engineering program.
• Applicants must have completed at least 60 credit hours if applying as an undergraduate student.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic proficiency.
• Applicants must be residents of Northern British Columbia to receive first preference.
• Applicants must maintain academic proficiency to qualify for renewal for up to one additional year
