Overview

Only students with a bachelor's or master's degree from the New York Institute of Technology are eligible for this award. Students enrolled in dual degree programs with the College of Osteopathic Medicine are not eligible for this scholarship. Every academic year, all students must apply to be considered. Depending on the student, this grant may be given out annually for a maximum of three (3) years or six semesters.

Eligibility for New York Tech Graduate Alumni Award:

  • The FAFSA must be completed, and any required verification documents (except international students) must be submitted.
  • The candidate needs to be enrolled in one of New York Tech's graduate programs in full.
  • The candidate must hold a previous New York Tech bachelor's or master's degree.
  • The candidate is not eligible to enroll in New York Tech's joint-degree undergraduate/graduate programs in BS/DO, BS/DPT, BS/MSOT, or BS/MSPA.
  • Applicant must maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) and be enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credits.
  • The applicant's cumulative grade point average must remain at least 3.0.
  • Each year, candidates are required to fill out and submit an application for the New York Tech Graduate Alumni Award.

The successful candidates are awarded a sum of up to $6,000 per year.
