This scholarship is a generous bequest made available to Southern Cross University students from a disadvantaged background undertaking the Bachelor of Education.
Eligibility requirement for Neil Eric Cowd Memorial Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026:
- Be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia including permanent humanitarian visa holders.
- Be enrolled (full-time) in the Bachelor of Education with Southern Cross University either on campus or online. Commencing and current students are invited to apply for the scholarship.
- Experiencing a demonstrable form of hardship and or disadvantage.
- Part time study may be considered. The value of the scholarship may be adjusted accordingly.
Value of the scholarship:
A AUD 20,000 Paid as AUD 5,000 Per Year for up to Four years of full-time study to support a full-time student

- Apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at Southern Cross University for the 2024 or 2025 intake.
