Eligibility Criteria for The NCUK Merit Scholarship 2026:

Applicants must:

Be an overseas student.
Be currently studying an NCUK International Foundation Year.
Progress to an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield in September 2026.
Select the University of Sheffield as firm or insurance choice by the required deadline.
Hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate programme (excluding Medicine and Dentistry).
Be self-funded and not sponsored by an external organisation.
Demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership, initiative, and relevant achievements.
Meet all academic progression and admission conditions.

Value of The NCUK Merit Scholarship 2026:

Total value up to £17,500:

£10,000 tuition fee discount in Year 1
£2,500 per year in subsequent years (subject to progression conditions)
