The National Science Scholarship (Masters) is designed to enhance and expand the suitable candidate's research abilities, offering the necessary groundwork and initial advantage for a research career.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be passport holders of Singapore.
  • Applicants must have obtained at least a second Upper-Class Honours Degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
  • Applicants who are in the last semester of their final year of undergraduate studies are eligible.
  • Applicants must have applied or will be applying for a Master of Research program in selected research areas at a top overseas global university.
  • Applicant must demonstrate a strong interest in a research career.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must first submit an online application.
  • Shortlisted candidates are required to undergo two rounds of interviews.
  • Selected candidates are notified through email.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
    • Full tuition fees.
    • Monthly overseas living allowance.
