About the Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to a confirmed Doctor of Philosophy Science candidate, or a first-year Master of Science (Physics) student, based on academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria for the N D Goldsworthy Scholarship for Physics:

Be either:
- A confirmed School of Physics Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science candidate
  - Must have commenced PhD studies between 1 July of the previous year and 30 June of the award year,
- Be enrolled in the first semester of the Master of Science (Physics) program.
Be either a domestic or international student.
Be in future study or current study stage (depending on cohort).

Selection Criteria for the N D Goldsworthy Scholarship for Physics:

Awarded to the student(s) ranked highest in Academic Excellence.

Application Process:

No application is required. Students will be automatically considered for this award upon enrollment with the university.

Value of the Scholarship:

This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend of $6,000 per year for up to 3.5 years for Doctor of Philosophy Science candidates, or a one-off payment for Master of Science (Physics) students. The value depends on the number of eligible students and the funds available.
