Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, 2022

The Regent's International School, Bangkok is offering Music scholarships for children who have a passion for music and wish to improve their skills. 

Eligibility for Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School, 2022:

• Students applying for Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, 2022 should be able to play an orchestral/musical instrument at an above average scale (at least ABRSM Grade 4 where applicable).
• Applications sent singers who have a knowledge of how to play a musical/ instrument are also considered.
• Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, 2022 are applicable for students aged between 8-16.

Application Instructions:

• Students applying for Music Scholarships must fill an application form electronically.
• Applicants are requested to send in samples of performances in the form of Flash drive, CD, YouTube links along with the application form.
• During audition:
1. Applicants must play two contrasting pieces on their musical instrument for 5-10 minutes each.
2. Students should read and play scales including major and minor keys in a range suitable for their instrument.
3. Students must also undergo an interview with the Head of Music regarding their interest and experience.

Value of Music Scholarship:

• The recipient of the scholarship will get full tuition fees as a fee waiver.
