Music Scholarship at College of Wooster 2026

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be new entrants and not transfer students.
• Applicants must display music skills through audition or compositional skills evidenced by written scores.
• Applicants may be enrolled in any of the programs offered at the university. 

Application Process:

• The candidates must first submit the general application for admission.
• They must complete and submit the Music Scholarship Application Form.
• The candidates must submit one or two letters of recommendation.
• They must attend the audition weekend held on-campus in Scheide Music Center. 

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

• USD 2,000 to USD 8,000 per year
• Subsidized music lesson fees for $25/semester for half-hour weekly private lessons on the instrument of the audition.
