Music Scholarships/Awards are intended to recognize and encourage excellence.
Eligibility for the Music Performance Scholarship:
- Applicants must have advanced ABRSM grade (or equivalent, including RockSchool, Trinity, or other international musical qualifications).
- Candidates should have a significant musical profile while in school/college/university or in the local community.
- Students must have an appropriate performing experience at the county or national level/conservatoire, e.g. youth choir, county orchestra, wind band, jazz, or big band.
- Experience in giving public performances, e.g. gigs or solo recitals, central role in musical theatre productions.

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
Talented singers and instrumentalists pursuing any degree at the University of Kent are annually rewarded GBP 1,000.
