MRS Queer Leadership scholarship 2023/24

The on-campus housing provided by Monash Residential Services (MRS) is an example of a varied and welcoming community, with tenants from a wide range of cultures, religions, races, and worldviews. MRS is dedicated to preserving LGBTIQA+ inclusion in these multicultural neighborhoods, which are home to more than 3,000 people. With the help of this scholarship, students of all genders and sexual orientations will be able to live comfortably on campus at MRS, where they will be welcomed and valued for their differences.

Eligibility for MRS Queer Leadership scholarship:

• The applicant must be enrolled full-time at a Monash campus in Australia, or intend to enroll there, in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• The applicant must be a present or prospective resident of MRS. For on-campus housing, students must apply directly to Monash Residential Services (MRS).
• The applicant cannot violate any of the current residency requirements set out by Monash Residential Services.
• A current Volunteer Working with Children check must be shown by the student.
• The applicant should identify themselves as LGBTQIQA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, or queer).

Application Process:

Applicants must use the application form to apply for the MRS Queer Leadership Scholarship. The application deadline is January 31, 2024.
