Oxford MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022

The Kwok Scholars Association is offering MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022 for up to two outstanding students from Hong Kong and/or mainland China. On completion of their studies at the University of Oxford, the students must intend to return to Hong Kong or China to develop their career in public service for the betterment of their countries.

Eligibility for Oxford MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022:

• The students applying for MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022 must be national citizens of China( either permanent resident of Hong Kong or Mainland resident).
• The candidates applying must have been offered a place to study the Master of Public Policy program at the Blavatnik School of Government (“BSG”) at the University of Oxford.
• The candidates must also possess excellent academic merit and/or potential to be considered for MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022.
• Applicants must show that they are committed to public service for the benefit of China and/or betterment Hong Kong community.
• Candidates must also intend to apply their knowledge gained at the University of Oxford to further that commitment.

Application procedure: 

• Candidates who successfully gained a place to study the MPP program at Oxford should submit a separate application form for the Kwok Scholarship.
• Along with the application form, candidates must include their curriculum vitae.
• Candidates must include their previous academic transcripts 
• Applicants must provide proof of their need for financial support explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship. 
• Records that include the nature, duration and average work hours of any community activities and/or public services done by the candidates should also be sent.

Documents Required:

• Applicant should submit a separate application form for the Kwok Scholarship.
• Candidates must submit Statement of purpose to explain how their study at the University of Oxford will prepare them for a career in public service.
• Applicants must arrange a minimum of two references one from academic referrer, the other from work referrer. The letters must be sent by the references using the email address of their institution.

Value of Oxford MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022:

• The recipient of Scholarship will get a grant covering college fees, tuition fees, and a maintenance grant for living expenses of the applicant.

Deadline for Oxford MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, 2022:

• The last date to apply for Oxford MPP graduate scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government is 31st March 2022.
