Mokaraka Māori Women in Business Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 

This Scholarship is to support young Māori women studying at Wellington School of Business and Government.

Eligibility Criteria of Mokaraka Māori Women in Business Scholarship:

1. Applicants must be female and of Māori descent.
2. Applicants must be enrolled (or intending to enrol) full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the Wellington School of Business and Government, with a GPA/GPE of at least 6.00 for consideration.

Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded primarily on the basis of academic merit. The applicant's written personal statement will also be taken into account.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

Award: NZD 15,000.

Note:

1. The scholarship is paid as a monthly stipend, starting after enrolment confirmation; part-time study will be pro-rated, and awardees may reapply for subsequent years.
2. Recipients must submit a thank you letter and an end-of-year progress report to the donor.
3. Academic merit is assessed based on NCEA/CIE results for first-year students or GPA/GPE from previous years for continuing students; all applicants will be notified after the closing date.
