    Eligibility for the MIT Academic Achievement Scholarship:

    • International students who are enrolled full-time in the trimester for which the benefit is intended must apply.
    • Candidates must not have had any failing marks in the previous trimester, have an average overall percentage of 75.0% or more, and have no individual results below 70.0% (exceptions may be considered).
    • IELTS (academic) grades with an overall score of 7.0 and no band lower than 6.5 are required of applicants. The application must be accompanied by documentary proof of a current IELTS certification (test date within two years of the application date).
    • Candidates must have fulfilled the course requirements of the MIT program by working full-time for at least two trimesters.
    • A minimum attendance record of 80% in all scheduled classes is required of applicants.
    • Submissions from applicants must be accompanied by a 500–800 word essay explaining the significance of winning the grant.
    • To be enrolled full-time for the following trimester, applicants must have paid the required fee.
    • Candidates cannot get sponsorship from governments or other groups.
    • Before the closing date, applicants must have sent in a full application form.
    • The applicants' enrollment in the course they started had to have continued.

    Benefits of the MIT Academic Achievement Scholarship:

    • Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment equivalent to 30% of the tuition fee for the trimester in which the student is enrolled. 
    • A maximum of 5 scholarships in each School will be awarded for each trimester.
