The Merz Family Bursary provides financial support to students enrolled in eligible Trades Foundation, Health and Social Development, or Adult Basic Education programmes at Okanagan College. Preference is given to mature students and applicants who are permanent residents of the North Okanagan catchment region.
Eligibility Criteria for the Merz Family Bursary at Okanagan College 2026:
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the North Okanagan catchment region of Okanagan College.
- Applicant must be registered in any Trades Foundation programme, any Health and Social Development diploma or certificate programme, or a full-time or part-time Adult Basic Education course load at the Vernon Campus of Okanagan College.
- Preference is given to mature students aged 25 or older.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicant must be in good standing.
