Merit Scholarship at the University of Waterloo 2026

The University of Waterloo Merit Scholarship recognizes students with strong academic achievement by providing a one-time entrance award to eligible first-year undergraduate students.

Eligibility for Merit Scholarship at the University of Waterloo 2026:

• The Applicants must be admitted to a full-time, first-year undergraduate degree programme commencing in September.
• The Applicants must achieve an admission average of 85%–89.9%, calculated using the required admission courses for their chosen programme.
• The Applicants must accept their Offer of Admission by the specified deadline.
• The Applicants must remain enrolled in full-time degree studies throughout the September–December term.

Application Process for Merit Scholarship at the University of Waterloo 2026:

• No separate scholarship application is required.
• Eligible applicants are automatically considered when they apply for admission at the University of Waterloo.
