Mellemstrand Family Bar None Entrance Award

The Mellemstrand Family Bar None Entrance Award is supported by endowed funds from proud University of Alberta alumni, Lora Mellemstrand, Bachelor of Science in Home Economics 1961, and Leighton Mellemstrand, Bachelor of Agriculture 1962, in honor of the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences Centennial.

Eligibility criteria for the Mellemstrand Family Bar None Entrance Award:

Applicants must have satisfactory academic standing.
Applicants must be entering the first year of a Bachelor of Science degree.
Applicants must be enrolled in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta.
Applicants must demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement in extracurricular and community activities.
Selection is based on leadership and academic standing.
Recipients may receive only one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year.
