McDermott Nursing Appreciation Bursary at Mohawk College:

The McDermott Nursing Appreciation Bursary provides financial assistance to eligible Mohawk College nursing students who demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students who are single parents or who volunteer in long-term care or healthcare.

Eligibility requirements for the McDermott Nursing Appreciation Bursary at Mohawk College:

• The applicants must demonstrate financial need, as per OSAP eligibility guidelines.
• The applicants must have been an Ontario resident for 12 consecutive months before the start of the program.
• The applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person.
• The applicants must be enrolled in Diploma RPN to BScN Degree.

Application Process:

• This is a general award the students can apply for through the Mohawk College Scholarships and Bursaries Application.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A CAD 1,000 is awarded to support a full time student at the Mohawk University.
