The university is dedicated to helping innovative businesswomen reach their goals of increased influence and career advancement. Successful MBA students will get mentorship support from a member of the university's Senior Leadership Team through the Advancing Women in Leadership Scholarship. Promising applicants will demonstrate an effective professional growth path, outstanding academic performance, and plenty of work experience.

Eligibility for MBA Advancing Women in Leadership Scholarship at Newcastle University:

  • The candidate must identify as a woman.
  • The candidate must have an offer—either unconditional or conditional—to be admitted to the full-time MBA program in 2026.
  • The candidate must have the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honors degree and have three years or more of significant managing experience (applicants who do not fulfill this requirement but can show substantial progress in their careers together with above-minimum relevant work experience may still be taken into consideration)
  • The candidate should do well in the interview in every area of expertise.
  • If English is not the candidate's first language, they must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or more in English language proficiency, with no subskill lower than 6.0.

Value of the Scholarship:

A full fee award of £33,250, payable towards the cost of tuition fees

Application Process:

Applicants must fill out an online application form, which requires an essay. The School's MBA Scholarship Committee will evaluate applications and submissions. All eligible offer holders will get emails with links to the application form.

Deadline:

The application deadline is April 10, 2026; if the right applicant isn't found by then, the deadline will be extended.
