Be entering an eligible undergraduate program in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo
Have distinguished academic performance, especially in mathematics
Demonstrate achievement in mathematics or computer science contests (preferred)
Show interest in mathematics or computer science beyond coursework
Maintain an overall academic average of 80% or higher to continue receiving funding after year 1

Value of University of Waterloo Faculty of Mathematics Global Scholarships 2026:

Valued between $12,000 and $40,000 CAD, distributed equally over eight academic terms, with continuation dependent on maintaining academic performance requirements.
