Overview
To support the advancement of women specializing in economics and finance Bank of Canada offers the Master’s Scholarship Award for Women in Economics and Finance
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
- Applicants must be female candidates.
- Applicants must be in the final two years of an undergraduate program or have completed an undergraduate degree.
- Applicants must plan to pursue a master’s degree in Economics or Finance.
- Applicants must have an overall average grade of 70 percent or higher.
Documents Required:
- The candidates need to submit a completed application form.
- The candidates must attach proof of their enrolment or acceptance in a master’s degree program in economics or finance.
- Transcripts (official) have to be attached.
- A complete résumé and cover letter which should include the interests of the candidate in pursuing the subject should be added.
- Response to the personal statement.
